Autumn is a wonderful time to visit Norway, the vast areas of forest are a riot of colour, rich with mushrooms and wild berries. Norwegian Wood is a large and comfortable traditional Norwegian cabin, in a quite stunning riverside location surrounded by forest and mountains with an outdoor hot tub and boules pitch. If you want to get away from it all, this is the cabin for you. Elk and other wildlife can often be seen passing the cabin to drink from the river, and lynx have also been seen in the wooded hillside beyond. A paradise for fishing and photography.
Travel to the far north, a land of dramatic mountain landscapes, magical moonlit nights and the spectacular natural phenomenom - The Aurora Borealis.
While it is not guaranteed to see the lights, the current period up to 2014 is expected to be particularly strong - guests this year have seen the lights on average 4 nights out of 7.
Accommodation Stay in a comfortable waterfront cabin, with an absolutely breathtaking view across the fjord to mountains beyong.
Join us aboard a classic Norwegian sailing yacht for a thrilling maritime adventure through the islands and fjords of the beautiful south coast of Norway.
