Family cabin holidays in Norway - hand picked Norwegian cabins, amazing adventures and incredible memories
What is a cabin holiday?
Cabins in Norway can mean anything from a luxury pad with pool and jacuzzi, to a simple shack perched on the rocks by the sea.
We have designed our cabin holidays to offer families an authentically Norwegian experience whatever your budget, and whenever you want to visit; Norway has cabins for all seasons.
There are literally thousands of cabins in Norway and picking the right one for your particular Norwegian holiday can be a minefield - this is where we can help.
Finding the right cabin is just the start; we also offer incredible adventures from all our properties including dog sledding or ice fishing in winter, and sailing or rafting in summer.
We know all our cabins intimately, and by talking to you we can match you to the perfect place.

Your cabin holiday diary
Day 1: Arrived at cabin, exhausted but so nice that the fire was already lit to take off the evening chill. So peaceful here.
Day 2: Awoke to the sound of the waves (and our kids) - took a dip in the sea, refreshing! Did nothing for rest of day, bliss...
Day 3: Guides picked us up this morning and spent the most wonderful day exploring the local wilderness on horse back. Sore bum.
Day 4: Everyone a bit tired after yesterday so just went fishing on our boat, caught some fish!! cooked it on the the bbq, yum.
Day 5: Popped into the local town - beautiful old wooden houses, kids loved all the boats in the harbour, found a lovely hidden bar in a back street, stayed there until the small hours. Can't wait for tomorrow.
Day 6: Incredible day trip on an old sailing boat - stopped at a beautiful island for lunch, uninhabited except by seals, we even got to help the crew bring in the sails when it got a little too breezy! Glorious (and romantic!) way to travel - what an amazing way to end the holiday.
Day 7: Goodbye cabin, sad to leave but so many fantastic memories, see you next year!

This short sea kayaking course is perfect for families and beginners, taking place in the calm waters off the coast of Risør in southern Norway. We often see seals sun bathing on the rocks, and sometimes we even see dolphins!
