Nordic Walking Break, Southern Norway
Nordic walking is one of the fastest growing fitness activities in the world, and nordic walking in Norway is a great way to experience the beautiful scenery and get fit at the same time.
The activity evolved from nordic ski training, where athletes wanted to continue training through the summer months (yes it doesn't snow all year in Scandinavia!) and special lightweight walking poles were developed to help athletes maintain upper and lower body fitness while out hiking. It quickly became a popular activity to maintain general fitness, being low impact and highly enjoyable. It is now estimated that 10 million people go nordic walking regularly.
We offer nordic walking holidays in Norway for both beginners and more experienced walkers, in small groups, with other activities and excursions included along the way to make it a unique and memorable holiday.
Groups are organised by experience and fitness, so you can take the holiday at a pace which suits you.
